Hello and welcome.
My name’s Snehal Dasari. As a bit of an elevator spiel, I’m an Infrastructure guy, currently working at Segura in the capacity of a Senior Technical Advisor for Cloud services. I originally started my career in Darwin within the Northern Territory Government, expanding my skills and then moving to Melbourne in 2000. Although work wasn’t always easy to come by, I ended up at companies both big and small – BHP Billiton to Kiandra IT – doing everything from Desktop Support to Infrastructure Solution Design.
In my own time, I’m somewhat of an avid reader of largely non-fiction books, as well as a consumer of wine and food – something that you will hear me mention from time to time.
As for the why – well, the point of this blog is to enable me to communicate my thoughts and opinions on things I see on a regular basis, in my travels within the IT sector. Its also here because I like to write, hopefully allowing me to improve.
